I think maybe one of my best photos ever, and I know I've learned there is MUCH fascinating about these creatures. I've been looking all over the sites on identifications, and this one appears to be a Darner of some sort. I'll be most happy to hear what one this is, with a proper ID. Here is a link to one place that lists and has photos of dragonflies in Arizona: Arizona Species List of Dragonflies. Mine is not there, but I'll be back with word I hear of what this amazing fellow turns out to be.

Be a Patriot! Buy a Flag!
An assortment of flag images and flag decorations on sale at the local Fry's Supermarket on July 4th, in Phoenix. If you view this in the original size (follow the image linked to flickr.com and select "all sizes"), there are a few images in the montage that are very fine. Notes are on the tiles in the image.
The previous set contains a variety of desserts for sale, all with the American flag and ubiquitous red/white/blue for the Fourth of July.
