Dreamlines is an amazing online application! Try it by entering a search term (something very specific is better than adverbs or global terms. In digg, I saw the article about this and followed the link:

Dreamlines
Amazing java application using image search with Google and random "drawing" of amorphous shapes and lines, changing over the long minutes the "dream" is running. I searched for "armadillo" and got about 8 terrific abstract and amorphous images that yes indeedy, had armadillow hiding in them. Don't try this on dial-up - it takes a LONG time with broadband. BUt then I got lost there for over an hour.
Here is a bit what the web designer/program designer says:
All this multiplicities get together on the verge of chaos, on a process that mixes randomness and strict but complex logics, very much alike the processes that take place in our heads. Even when we rest.

The flickr badge on the sidebar is still going strong. Shows my latest uploads to flickr, my addiction online for the last year now. And hopefully, the first entry from digg will appear above this post. digg is a technology-oriented but GEEK-certainly online collection of news stories submitted by members. There is a comment feature for each new tip and members vote on the value of tips. Basically a dig it, or a thumbs down. Let's see how this works. Found it tonight on the technology blog of the Guardian Online. BJ 11/22/2005 03:29:00 AM
