What did the homeless man say at the protest?

Anyone care to take a stab at this? This man came up to talk with me while I was holding my sign for "HONK - Are You Embarassed by Bush?" My son stands near, and NickFun is across the intersection with his sign, talking with drivers going West across Camelback and 24th Street. BTW, I can understand what this man had to say and respect him. And when I asked if I could take his picture, he was startled but agreeable. I told him it would be on the Internet and he laughed.

In Memory 9-11 and Katrina

We got MANY MANY honks today! Corner of Camelback and 24th Street, Phoenix, Arizona. This was next to the Ritz-Carlton Hotel, where President Bush stays at often when he is in town. We figured about 1 out of 3 cars honked, and some honked loud and long...

One of the frequent comments we got was "I am so glad you are doing this. You are doing the right thing!" Pretty neat to hear this from so many folks that were staying at the Ritz-Carlton and walking across to the Biltmore Fashion Square Plaza for dinner. We saw all age groups and types of people. Very few folks made an effort to counter us. Only got "the bird" a few times, and a rant against our action by a homeless man. It felt great to be out on the street doing DOING something, instead of staying at home and cursing the darkness.

Now we have a good memory of our day of horror, 9-11, and we know that four years later, people HAVE NOT FORGOTTEN what is important. Although some people in the government apparently have different "family values" than we do...
