HOW MUCH a Pound?
Taken at a local gourmet foods market in Phoenix, AJ's. This image is posted on flickr, a photo sharing community I highly recommend. One thing nice about sharing images there is that conversations can strike up around images, and this is one that got a variety of comment. I don't know about the price of meat in your area, but this is astonishing to me. The prices are about 4 times higher than available in regular grocery stores, but there the meat is not nearly so good quality. How many could afford to grill steak for 4 if it cost $60 or so for the meat alone? I hear from friends that this selection is really extraordinary. I am sooooo missing the great pork and beef from Iowa.
