Because we are in the election year, there is still "hope" that "
things" will change for better. Right now, it is so oppressive
the enormity of changes in our lives due to the Bush
administration sweeps across the civil liberties, freedom of
speech and even pervasive policy changes that are not made
accessibly-public as announced changes of policy. Takes alot of
work to "keep up" when to do that means a great deal of research
and digging to find what the apparent "facts" are and wade past
the amazing propaganda and spins that assault us through every
media resource as well as the government proclamations! Oh for
the days when government announcements seemed to be actual news
stories and decisions the public was privy to. Quite a change
for a government "by the People" to be "government FOR the people
" as decreed and defined by Powers in power.
I'll try to post soon a "must-read" list of blogs and sites that are providing useful content and not only bashings and diatribe. It is action that counts and action is crucial to win back a government BY the people. This Edwards caucus delegate is most interested to see where the Dems end up in just a few weeks more. Looking like Kerry and "someone" for the opposing party ticket for this year. And I doubt that Dean will any longer be much of a key player, just as Clark bows out and there remain no viable Dem front-runners for the contest to come.
