Just a quick post today - tonight Drew and I and Dillo go to see the Mavericks play da Bulls! Yeah, should be a fine night! Of course it would be better if this were another in the winning streak for the Mavs, but their defeat to the Pacers may put them in a more fighting spirit, eh?
If any friend is interested in looking at archives, I recommend the week starting November 17 because there are many great links to follow. Also, if you click on "archives" on the home page of this blog, you will see a fun java script I found. Hope to hear from good friends online soon - it's been "quiet" on the bandwidth for these holidays. Hope this is due to great times you've all had with friends and family. Right now it's sunny and technicolor in Dallas, and I wish all good weather wherever!

Drew and Mom are having a great time, now, in the Dig D area. Within the frst 24 hours there was the flu and then the accidental gash in his left palm from reaching up too high for a pair of knife-sharp scissors I thought I'd made inaccessible...Monday night was 6 hours in ER and with the IV fluids, suddenly Drew began to perk up. Whew!
Yesterday was shopping mania at the Super Target were we scored on good clearance sale duds for the guy. We live near Grapevine, Texas, also near the DFW airport. Later today we go for the Grapewine Mills Outlet Mall to see about any pre-holiday deals. I think we are down to 1 electric razor (battery-powered), 1 matching robe to his new flannel pjs, and gloves. Maybe a second pair of shoes. And of course we will have to spend the required amount of time looking at PlayStation 2 games and accessories, LOL. In any case, the giganitc mall here will astonish Drew, and here we still haven't been on a Drew to the two big city-downtowns for sightseeing. Well, I'm not online much at the moment, but will check back in with links and welcome posts by FiredUp friends. Looking for husker, ehBeth, jespah, semiotterly, wh3, P & L, mmediane and all - soon? Holiday wishes to you all for good and satisfying days this holiday and weekend!
Peace, Love, and Hugs,
cobalt
Hello Friends! Drew made it in last night, but he literally "flu" in - yep, he's been sick a couple days now but we had thought it might be seizure-related and didn't know it was really a virus. So, the ball 'o fire expected has actually been quite subdued. We have had the day at home now, and hope to go out and around tomorrow. Hope this post finds you and yours well this week!
